OLYMPIC

On Monday night, Chinese teams swept both gold and silver medals by executing nearly flawless skating programs. Vancouver, British Columbia - The era of Russian dominance in Olympic pair’s figure skating is over. There are three reasons. First, Russia or the Soviet Union had won gold in pairs at every Olympics since 1964, but didn't manage to medal in Vancouver. Second, Chinese teams swept both gold and silver medals by executing nearly flawless skating programs. The last reason is their rivals from Germany and Russia stumbled on the ice. In my opinion, I really respect the spirit of athletes, there are very dedicated.
